BOND IT ROOF SEAL – ROOF REINFORCING MAT is a heavy-duty spunbond polyester mat designed to be used with Roof Seal Liquid Membrane. It is primarily used to improve the strength of the membrane thanks to its strong tear and puncture resistance, and it is ideal for rapid repairs on roof substrates such as blisters, splits, and tears.

Heavy Duty Roof Reinforcing Mat. BOND IT ROOF SEAL – ROOF REINFORCING MAT is applied in conjunction with Roof Seal Liquid Membrane. It is heavy duty and mainly used to reinforce and strengthen the membrane due to its excellent tear and puncture resistance. It is also perfect for rapid repairs on roof surfaces, including blisters, splits, and tears.
For application:
- Ensure the temperature during primer application is above 5°C.
- Apply a single coat of Seal It Primer to the surface with a brush or roller, following the coverage rate to achieve the minimum thickness.
- Allow the primer to fully cure (normally overnight; in cold weather it may require up to 48 hours).
- Apply a 1 mm coat of Seal It Liquid Membrane and press the reinforcing mat into the wet coating, with at least 5 cm overlaps.
- Apply a second layer of liquid membrane to achieve a total thickness of approximately 2 mm.
